During the internship I was tasked with designing and building a low noise preamplifier to be used for soil ecoacoustic research. The design process involved researching the context, understanding how audio is processed in a circuit, building different prototypes and using testing methodologies to improve on the designs. The outcome is the open source design of a preamplifier and a knowledge base where the design decisions and descriptions are documented. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
