This media project is based on Fanny and Sanne\u2019s bachelor thesis about the TV-show It\u2019s Always Sunny in Philadelphia<\/em>\u2019s use of satire in the episode \u201cA Woman\u2019s Right to Chop\u201d and how it is understood by its audience. The use of satire in the episode was studied through a text analysis and the audience reception was conducted by interviews. One of the findings in the study was that the older individuals had more difficulty understanding satire and its underlying messages in the episode. Therefore, we have created a light-hearted guide for \u201cBoomers\u201d to understand satire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
