Mitt examensarbete handlar om representationen i filmer av arabiska och andra kvinnor fr\u00e5n Mellan\u00f6stern. Dessutom de stereotyper som m\u00e5nga filmer presenterar och varf\u00f6r det \u00e4r viktigt att bryta de stereotyper som m\u00e5nga m\u00e4nniskor i media utanf\u00f6r Mellan\u00f6stern visar. I min gestaltning f\u00f6rs\u00f6kte jag att utmana mig sj\u00e4lv genom att skriva en kr\u00f6nika. Jag arbetar, parallellt med mina studier, som reporter p\u00e5 lokaltidningen Syd\u00f6stran i Blekinge. N\u00e4r vi startade Media 5-projektkursen fick jag en id\u00e9. Att anv\u00e4nda mitt jobb p\u00e5 tidningen f\u00f6r att skriva en kr\u00f6nika om problemet som jag tar upp i mitt examensarbete. Det var inte l\u00e4tt att sammanfatta hela mitt examenarbete till en kr\u00f6nika med ett begr\u00e4nsat antal ord. Enligt tidningen jag jobbar p\u00e5, f\u00e5r man anv\u00e4nda h\u00f6gst 500\u2013550 ord i en kr\u00f6nika. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\" style=\"font-size:14px\">Jag vill ocks\u00e5 belysa hur kvinnliga regiss\u00f6rer av arabiskt ursprung f\u00f6r\u00e4ndrar bilden av hur arabiska kvinnor presenteras i filmer. Dessutom hur de bryter stereotyper genom att introducera nya id\u00e9er och tankar ur feministisk synvinkel. S\u00e5 d\u00e4rf\u00f6r har en diskursanalys av filmen &#8221; Caramel&#8221; genomf\u00f6rts i mitt examensarbete. Filmen var min inspirationsk\u00e4lla fr\u00e5n b\u00f6rjan. Som kvinna fr\u00e5n Mellan\u00f6stern \u00e4r det viktigt f\u00f6r mig att belysa detta problem eftersom jag vill se f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar p\u00e5 hur folk ser p\u00e5 oss, s\u00e4rskilt i media. Jag vill, via min gestaltning, kommunicera mina tankar om hur kvinnor fr\u00e5n Mellan\u00f6stern presenteras i olika medier. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r har kr\u00f6nikan blivit publicerad b\u00e5de digitalt och p\u00e5 papper f\u00f6r att n\u00e5 ut till allm\u00e4nheten. Folk som l\u00e4ser tidningar kanske l\u00e4ser min kr\u00f6nika.
