As we finish this blog, we want to take a moment to look back on this journey. For all of us who worked on it, the past few months have been full of learning, sharing, and gaining a better understanding of the important topic we chose to write about.
Our goal was to create a small but useful space for pro-Palestinian activism in Europe. We wanted to share different views and show how the political landscape is shaped in countries from north to south, like Sweden, Denmark, Greece, Cyprus, and Austria. We hoped our posts would not only inform but also start meaningful conversations. This experience taught us a lot.
Working together on this blog showed us the importance of collaboration. The different perspectives from our team helped make the content richer and more relevant for more people. Balancing our own ideas with the group’s goals was sometimes challenging, but by talking openly and respecting each other, we were able to create something we are proud of.
Through this project, we looked at how digital activism supports the pro-Palestinian movement. We learned how activism happens in our cities and sometimes in other places, and how it starts conversations and raises political awareness. Most importantly, we saw that when people work together and share ideas, they can create something meaningful. An important part of this journey was conducting the entire process remotely, which ties closely to our theme of Communicating Digital Activism. This experience showed us how useful digital platforms are for sharing ideas and bringing people together for a cause.
At first, some of us wondered if blogging was still a good way to reach people today. Now, we realize that we have created a lasting resource that reflects on the Palestinian cause, especially after the events of October 7. This blog is a record of our thoughts and experiences, something that can be read and shared in the future.
We want to thank you, our readers, for being part of this experience. Your comments and messages helped us improve and shape the blog. Your involvement made it feel like a team effort. In the end, this blog grew into something bigger and more meaningful than we first expected.
Thank you for joining us on this journey. Although this chapter is ending, we hope it will inspire more conversations, activism, and solidarity!
