‘Artificial Inequality’ is a blog concerned with the structural impact of technology, beyond our daily lives. We aim to inform and engage our readers on how global economic and political structures shape digital labour and technology, uncovering the shadows of tech and modern slavery.
Our central themes are:
🤖 How AI and platform capitalism perpetuate gender inequalities.
🤖 The systemic disparities inherent in digital products and services.
🤖 The critical importance of international regulation in overseeing digital platforms and innovations.
We are a multidisciplinary team of passionate academics from a variety of professional backgrounds sharing our perspectives on digital technology in the global political economy.
