Can AI really help fix the <\/span>healthcare<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>caregiving crisis<\/span><\/a>? Is AI revolutionising <\/span>child care<\/span><\/a>? Questions like these are making headlines and sparking debates worldwide, as the care crisis and AI solutions<\/strong> emerge as one of today\u2019s most pressing topics. Amid a moment of both techno-optimism and uncertainty, I have delved into <\/span>care<\/span><\/i> by interviewing one of its most prominent experts: Joan C. Tronto<\/strong><\/a>, Professor of Political Science at the University of Minnesota.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tronto has become a leading voice in gender studies through her research on the ethics of care<\/strong>. In 2015, she was awarded the Brown Medal for Democracy for her work, <\/span>Who Cares?<\/a>.<\/span><\/i> She later published <\/span>Caring Democracy<\/span><\/i><\/a>, a compelling call to rethink democracy and the values of society from a caring perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n
