{"id":233,"date":"2022-10-12T09:42:51","date_gmt":"2022-10-12T09:42:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpmu.mau.se\/nmict22group1\/?p=233"},"modified":"2022-10-18T10:18:19","modified_gmt":"2022-10-18T10:18:19","slug":"women-leaders-feminism-cyberfeminism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wpmu.mau.se\/nmict22group1\/2022\/10\/12\/women-leaders-feminism-cyberfeminism\/","title":{"rendered":"Introducing: Women and the ICTs"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\r\n\n<p>As ICTs developed as a means of expression, offering users the possibility of expressing themselves and sharing content freely, some behaviours against gender equality began to be noticed, reproducing the situation in the <em>offline <\/em>(physical) context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It became necessary that all these issues of human rights are included in the content of ICTs, creating a vision not only related to communicate but also with a<strong> gender perspective.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is from here that some affected groups raise their voices, do not let themselves be intimidated and look for ways to resist and consolidate their rights. For feminist activists this becomes a sign that we still need more <em>online <\/em>and <em>offline feminism<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on this need for more and better information about the content offered by ICTs, in my first post <strong>\u201cOnline feminism activism\u201d,<\/strong> I analyse the main obstacles to this movement in the ICTs, including a brief comparison with <em>offline <\/em>feminism.
