Our field of Study is Communication and Media Studies in a wider sense, incorporating cultural aspects as well as a focus on Development Studies. We will operate this blog from September until November of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong>Power dynamics, ICTs and the Aid industry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Our intention for this blog is to communicate about social change and explore ways in which communication can and does affect grown social structures. We focus on power dynamics and development in this digital age. How these translate to newer and emerging technologies and especially how power dynamics and ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) influence continuous evolution within the aid industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong>We hope, you accompany us and enjoy this journey at least as much as we do<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">                    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>The Group<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:16px\">We are an intercultural group of five Students from different locations all over the world, with diverse interests and professional backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong>Nina Jerak: <\/strong> Slovenian communication specialist currently working for the United Nations Volunteers. With my BA in Media and Communications and MSc in International Studies, I have a profound passion for communication in the humanitarian sector, especially when it comes to using social media for good. Currently based in Lisbon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong>Zahra Naderi: <\/strong> working in the International relations of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology of Iran as an International Relations Specialist for more than 15 years and as the contact point of the relevant Ministry with the International Telecommunication Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong>Sylvia Nadi:<\/strong>  aspiring writer with an interest in learning about ways which lead towards organic change for more equitable global societies, the mechanisms behind counter-movements, identity formation and many other matters. I\u2019ve been living in Hamburg since 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-sitetext-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size\"><strong>Eman Omran:<\/strong> a student of communication, by choice, by belief, by faith. I am a world explorer, by heart. I have a favourite quote that I believe in; \u201cThe world is a fine place and it&#8217;s worth fighting for.\u201d- Ernest Hemingway. How do we fight for a better world?
