Critical thoughts on digital activism, social engagement and development.
This is goodbye

This is goodbye

Dear readers,

Thank you for your loyalty throughout these months of our blog posting live from Scotland, Malawi, Australia, Jordan, and Singapore.

As with every great story, it needs to reach a (happy?) end. While we are all moving on with our lives, both online and offline, we have decided to keep all posts alive, as well as our social media channels. Thus, if you wish to engage with our content further, please do so and we will try to answer as soon as we can.

We hope that through these blog posts, we were able to give you some of the latest news on digital activism, social media, and how both fit within the wider spectrum of communication for development. Our authors did not shy away from bringing uncomfortable truths to the table while providing sources from the academic and journalistic realms.

We want digital activism to bring about positive change, and hope many of us will share these thoughts. You loyal readers through the fantastic engagement provided have opened our horizons and pushed us to consider that we have not yet considered, and made us look beyond what have already knew. Thank you for that.

Goodbye from us at New Media Activism. Please take care and stay interested in the world of digital activism.

Alice, Kat, Nathalie, Simon, and Kerstin
