
Huda
‘Huda’ was Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. He lived throughout the Egyptian protests and eventually the history-changing revolution. He considers himself lucky enough to experience the Arab spring firsthand and for that he is grateful. Currently, he works as a lecturer at a renowned university in Europe. Equality in the post-colonial age is a topic of big influence and inspiration for him. Huda Sha’arawi is his choice of pseudonym. When it comes to female equality and protests against colonial powers, She is a great inspiration to him. Huda Sha’arawi was an Egyptian nationalist and the founder of the Egyptian Feminist Union. In 1919, she led a women-led protest advocating for Egyptian independence from British colonization and the release of male nationalist leaders.
