‘Nabawiyya’ is a communications and development officer based in Cyprus. She is interested in the intersection between human rights and gender in the Middle East. Her pseudonym is inspired by Nabawiyya Moussa, an Egyptian woman who worked to further education, promote health, and reduce sexual exploitation.
