{"id":152,"date":"2022-09-26T12:00:06","date_gmt":"2022-09-26T13:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpmu.mau.se\/nmict22group7\/?p=152"},"modified":"2022-10-09T19:47:02","modified_gmt":"2022-10-09T20:47:02","slug":"explore-feminist-activism-new-media","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wpmu.mau.se\/nmict22group7\/2022\/09\/26\/explore-feminist-activism-new-media\/","title":{"rendered":"Join our exploration of new media in feminist activism"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\r\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: center\">How exciting that you\u2019ve found our little venture, let us tell you a bit about it!<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: center\">ActDigital is run by a group of six students with different backgrounds and a shared interest in better understanding and making positive contributions to the world of communications and social change.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: center\">Over the next few weeks, we are going to explore the possibilities, challenges, and risks that an increasing use of digital and social media creates for activists and social movements, particularly feminist activists in pursuit of women\u2019s rights and increased gender equality.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: center\">We are not experts, nor are we seasoned activists ourselves. We hope you want to join us on this journey by sharing your reflections, experiences, disagreements, or questions using the comment function. And by sharing the blog with other feminist activists you know.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: center\">In a nod to women we admire and respect, and to keep this university assignment separate from our day-to-day lives and careers, we\u2019ve all chosen a pseudonym inspired by a woman activist.
