I specialise in the nexus between social protection and labour market policies. This interest was born when conducting field studies on how Indonesia\u2019s universal health care insurance is perceived by workers in the informal sector. I am particularly interested in agency and empowerment of the individual, a perspective which will be reflected in my posts here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Upon graduating from BA in Development studies at Lund University, I took on a role as Communications Officer at the Swedish Embassy in Uganda, where I stayed until covid-19 hit. Coming back to Sweden, I began working with unemployment benefits and earlier this year I joined the International desk of the Swedish Public Employment Services (PES). At the Swedish PES, I coordinate Sida-funded capacity development programmes within social protection and decent work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>When I don&#8217;t work or study, I love to dance, knit, sew. Anything that does not involve a screen really another reason why I have a bit of an outsiders&#8217; perspective on data4dev. Getting to know more about it<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, my curiosity grows and my questions multiply.
