devBridge explores contemporary communication for and about development. We focus on the broader landscape of NGO communications, from classic online media to trending platforms like TikTok and Podcasts. Alongside these digital realms, our journey takes us through essential themes encompassing migration, human rights, postcolonialism, and information technologies. We aim to unravel the evolving ethics of representation in humanitarian and development communications, the decolonization of development communication, and much more. We’ll shine a light on the world of representation in media and scrutinize the visual styles employed in development contexts, and the mechanics of fundraising in our increasingly globalized media landscape.
