He currently manages several communications channels for an international NGO that advances lasting solutions for refugees, while overseeing their film and photography efforts. In past roles, Chris worked in commercial film production, developed communications strategies for several non-profits and managed a team to develop marketing and advertising campaigns for a variety of clients. He has had the opportunity to volunteer with numerous organizations, both in the U.S. and abroad, including the American Red Cross and a grassroots non-profit in Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chris graduated from San Diego State University with a&nbsp;B.L.A.&nbsp;in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in International Security and Conflict Resolution. They are currently studying two master&#8217;s programs at Malm\u00f6 University: MA in Communication for Development and MA in Culture &amp; Change. Next to their studies, they work as a freelancer on English-German translation projects. She has balanced her career in both academic and industry settings, specializing in financial communications in the life science sector and championing sustainable business practices. She&nbsp;assumes roles as a freelance consultant, managing cultural projects and has overseen a spectrum of events, from in-person gatherings to virtual experiences. She&nbsp;a finds solace and inspiration in music activities,&nbsp;reflecting&nbsp;her well-rounded approach to personal and professional growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She lives and works mainly in Sweden&nbsp;and she&nbsp;cherishes her second home in Sopot, Poland, a place that holds a special spot in her heart.
