ComDev explores communication within contexts of articulating global and local processes of social change. The ComDev field is part science, part craft and part art, and its multidisciplinary academic foundations draw on aspects of development studies, anthropology, sociology and cultural studies. These multiple entry points create a rich framework for challenging hegemonic notions and knowledge, and engage with questions of social, cultural, economic and political power. In her writing &#8211; and academic career &#8211; she has taken a large interest in the influence cultural expressions have on current social movements, and vice versa.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7969587 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget-tablet__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7969587\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wpmu.mau.se\/nmict23group7\/author\/an6142\/\"><strong>Indigo<\/strong><\/a> is a business and technology freelancer who has previously navigated the government administration world and is interested in global business communication and how people convey multicultural meanings within their conversations in an increasingly digital borderless world. Nowadays, her main interest lies within climate change communication and she has most recently spent six months at the UN Secretariat for Climate Change (UNFCCC) in the communication and engagement division. His professional experience includes social work, digital media, emerging markets consulting, and education, spanning Europe, Asia, and North-America. He is currently based in mainland China and interested in aspects of ComDev in this context. His academic background has provided him with a solid foundation in understanding the complexities of political and activist communication within various contexts. With Swedish as his native language and fluency in both English and Spanish, he has honed his ability to convey messages across cultural and linguistic borders. Furthermore, his proficiency in Russian and Japanese, though at a conversational level, showcases his commitment to embracing diversity and enhancing cross-cultural interactions. She is now a sustainability communicator and researcher at Sony Europe, and has also recently founded The House, an innovation hub run by women for women.
