Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) Hässleholm is a free school for children in grades four to nine. At IES, students are immersed in a bilingual atmosphere that aims to teach both English and Swedish to fluency. As an assistant teacher, I have helped lecture, answer questions, guide students through learning material, substitute, teach good behavior, and form lesson plans. Through this internship, I have made invaluable bonds to the students I teach and gained a new appreciation for the hard work that goes into engaging and streamlining the learning process.
