The network SMEA (Swedish mediaproduction academy) has released an anthology with four authors fro K3; Dennis Augustsson, Margareta Melin, Kajsa Lindskog and Joshka Wessels. The release was celebrated during University Dalarnas Audiovisual Symposium in Falun before christmas. The purpose of this anthology is to showcase the diversity of perspectives and research within the broad field of Media Production in Sweden today. The SMEA network has been engaged in collaborations and inquiries concerning the epistemological foundations of media productions and how the integration of artistic/practical and academic perspectives in various educational programs is expressed. With its various contributions, the anthology aims to present different perspectives on media production and current issues regarding challenges and opportunities in academic contexts. The anthology is not intended as a research overview, but as a collection of insights into these current issues and perspectives.
