The time has come for us to say GoodBye for now, and we hope we “Speak” to you Later!
Seems like we just enrolled on this exciting and one of a kind journey to creating our group blog – Big Data Big Responsibility – but time flies and we would like to summarize our key learnings, items of interest and feedback in our final post.
We have certainly learned a great deal of new skills as a group and on an individual level, have had fruitful discussions with our audience, engaged by reading and commenting on each other’s articles and certainly triggered interest to continue to improve our knowledge on the key subjects including datafication and digital development. Our strengths and weaknesses have helped us to create a successful and engaging blog together with an interactive podcast that has brought in additional attention from our target group.
Each of us has explored the themes that were both interesting and challenging to us and that pushed us outside of our comfort zone to be able to dive deeper, think further and “speak” louder. We hope that our audience has had a chance to enjoy the read, learn something new whether it is about privacy, the way the data is gathered in today’s world and citizens’ rights when they accept the cookies or be it the algorithm bias that may trigger more questions than resolutions – we hope our target group managed to be engaged with our posts and be inspired to follow related items of interest further on and self-educate, where and if possible.
Last but not least, a big applause to our group members for the great work! We would also like to thank our audience for reading and interacting with our blog! Cyberspace is like a sea of stars filled with endless possibilities alongside dangers.
