Magdalena, originally from Poland, has been working for global commercial organizations from various fields, always staying curious about sustainable solutions as well as economic, social and ethical impacts of the business on tomorrow’s humanity. Now, based in Sweden, fully occupied by her daily routines: 2 children, full-time job, and Communications for Development Masters studies, she has been concurrently diving deeper into the impacts of the digitalization around the globe. Fascinated by how the humans are represented, consumed and shaped by the ever-growing new media industry, she would like to understand the process of perception shaping, but also discover some facts related to the big data, algorithms or AI.

Kristina graduated and practiced as a veterinarian in her home country Austria and for an NGO in Thailand. She experienced how different and inspiring her work in Thailand emerged and since has been curious and motivated to become more involved with her communication for development. She lived in multiple cities and countries working for various NGOs. She now lives in Mexico, studying in MA Communication for Development in Malmö University, teaching English in an Oaxacan primary school (due to the current crisis online), and working (also online) as a transcriptionist. She wants to share her ideas and knowledge and communication helps her to amplify her positive impact on the world.
