Introducing Lorenzo

Hello Blogosphere,

Lorenzo here. Italian born and bred with a passion for traveling. In the last 10 years my GPS would  jump around from time to time, but I have been calling Thailand home for the last 5 years working as a primary and kindergarten teacher.

About coffee

Travel addict, guitarist and bookworm, I have always been a fairly active and sporty person with a natural tendency of leading a healthy lifestyle.
I recently embraced the intermittent fasting diet and while enjoying the benefits of it, coffee has become pivotal in my morning routine. Aligned to the fasting regime I take it as it comes, black as the night: no milk, no sugar.

How much do you know about your coffee? Here’s 2 truths and a lie:
☕️ Coffee starts its journey from a seed
☕️ Coffee reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases
☕️ Black coffee contains no calories

Can you spot the lie? And how do you like your coffee?

About data

This blog was born with the idea of stirring up conversation about the highly digitized world we live in, tackling and exposing its contradictions and discussing its limitations.

Technology strongly impacts modern life affecting and reshaping human interactions and social behaviour. If on one side it helps create opportunities and make life easier, on the other it presents underlying discrepancies we should question.
I am not going to dig into it for now, but you’ll find out very soon about the turbulent relationship I have with technology.

The pandemic has also given a massive boost to the use we make of technology in our private and public sphere. Professionally, my life has turned upside down bringing pros and cons to my personal life as well. I have been teaching online in the last 6 months and it seems like it is going to continue this way for at least another month.

What’s the current situation in your country of residence and what is your experience with working from home?

Here’s a trendy question I have come across on LinkedIn. What would be your working method of choice for the new year?
